Stardust is excited to announce our collaboration with Lockheed Martin, Beaverhouse First Nation and Lakehead University. Together, the formed collaboration is working on bringing a new and innovative training solution to Northern Ontario.
Beaverhouse First Nation has now been collaborating with Stardust for many years and has been a driving force for this collaboration being formed. The community of Beaverhouse First Nation has been expanding through international collaborations in aerospace and defence alongside our team, towards the goal of empowering the youth with new career paths that will help drive the future economic force of Northern Ontario.
Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that engages in research, design, development, and manufacturing. Lockheed Martin will be working closely with Stardust, Beaverhouse First Nation, and Lakehead University to establish and promote this endeavour.
The goal is to establish academies that will house trainings ranging from aerospace, mining, defence, manufacturing, and health to name a few. For each of these fields, software will be developed to expand the knowledge of users, granting unparalleled learning experiences. Utilizing virtual reality, haptics, augmented reality, Stardust will be developing software integrated with advanced AI to make streamlined training methodologies including safety awareness, assembly, manufacturing, and operations, continuously updating the software through further collaborations with industry leads to standardize all training, bringing a new method of learning to the forefront of Northern Ontario.
Through this collaboration, all members will work closely together to bring technological growth and investment to northern Ontario, making the first of its kind, training, and innovation academies where people can experience learning in engaging and innovative ways!
